NZTA Approved Driver Licence Translations for NZTA, AA & IRD
Little Kiwi Linguist is a certified translation service providing authorised English translations of driving licences for the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), Automobile Association (AA) and Inland Revenue (IRD). If your licence is not in English you will require a certified translation in order to be able to drive in New Zealand. Having a translation of your driving licence means you can drive in this country for up to one year, at which point you can then apply for a NZ drivers licence. You will also be able to use your translated licence as proof of identification.
We offer certified translations in over 15 international languages!
Driver licences in New Zealand are issued by the New Zealand Transport Agency, and in order to convert your overseas licence you will be required to visit an authorised overseas conversion driver licencing agent such as the Automobile Association (AA) - both the AA and NZTA websites provide a list of registered offices and further information about driver’s licence requirements.
Our NZTA, AA and IRD approved driver’s licence translations can be provided electronically and as a hardcopy. Electronic versions are the quickest option as it means you don’t have to wait for the postal delivery service for it to arrive. It arrives in your inbox on the day we finish the translation! As simple as 1, 2, 3 – click, open, and print in colour!
